Leitz is present worldwide, with seven own production locations as well as 38 sales and service locations. The headquarters is at Leitz GmbH & Co. KG in Oberkochen, Germany. With its tools, tool systems, services and digital solutions, the company’s product range covers all industries for processing wood, derived timber products and state-of-the-art materials. The spectrum of Leitz customers ranges from traditional craft businesses to large industrial enterprises and global corporations. As a full-range supplier, Leitz offers the complete range of machine-controlled precision tools for standard and special applications. Leitz is equally represented in solid wood processing, such as window manufacturers or timber construction, as well as in panel processing. Leitz’s core competences also include a range of tools for efficient machining of state-of-the-art materials, so-called advanced materials, such as CFRP or composite materials.

Through intensive cooperation with its sister companies Bilz and Boehlerit, Leitz is able to offer coordinated and optimized solutions from a single partner. In addition to the joint strength of the three group companies, the individual competitive position for each company is continuously expanded through synergy.
