Going into Manifest season 4 part 1, one of the biggest cliffhangers that needed a resolution was the state of Michaela and Zeke’s relationship. Although they weren’t specifically headed for splitsville in the season 3 finale, things were starting to get a bit rocky for the pair.
After their marriage, Michaela and Zeke remain close with Jared, as is the nature of the 828 investigations. Toward the end of season 3, Zeke sensed that Jared still had feelings for Michaela, and he later overhears Jared explain that he only supported their marriage because Zeke had a Death Date.
Naturally, overhearing that conversation doesn’t feel great for Zeke, and it’s a lot for Jared to put on Michaela. And considering all of the Flight 828 chaos happening at the same time, it wasn’t the most optimal timing for Zekaela to be rocked by relationship turmoil.
Do Michaela and Zeke make it through the two-year time jump, and does their relationship make it through the twists and turns of Manifest season 4 part 1? Let’s break down what happens for one of the series’ central relationships.

Are Michaela and Zeke still married in Manifest season 4?
Yes! There’s no beating around the bush here: Michaela and Zeke are still married and going strong in Manifest season 4 part 1. As we know, Zekaela ended season 3 at a seemingly rocky point as they had an important chat about the state of their union on deck.
Since Manifest season 4 picks up two years after the events of season 3, we aren’t immediately privy to what that conversation entailed. Obviously, they had much bigger fish to fry as their family endured the loss of Grace and the kidnapping of Eden.
In the second episode of season 4 part 1, flashbacks reveal what happened on the day of Grace’s funeral. During the reception, Michaela and Zeke find a quiet moment to have that conversation. Michaela admits that her feelings for Jared have resurfaced.
However, she assures Zeke that she loves him and she chooses him every day. The feelings will pass and she has no desire or intention of acting on them. She’s married to Zeke and she takes their vow, their partnership, and their future seriously.
Throughout Manifest season 4 part 1, Michaela and Jared continue to find themselves teaming up for various investigations. Even though these team-ups sometimes have awkward energy, Michaela’s sure to check-in with Zeke on her newfound proximity to her ex.
Of course, in the final moments of episode 10, Zeke takes on all of Cal’s pain, which saves Cal’s life and (presumably) causes Zeke to die. While Michaela and Zeke do end up together, it’s unclear whether this is really the end of the road for Zeke and their relationship.
