Do you have to wear a mask at the Swan and Dolphin? ›

Face masks are NOT required while swimming in pools, on water slide, or while seated in your socially distanced pool chair. GUESTS MUST WEAR A FACE MASK IN ALL PUBLIC AREAS OF THE HOTEL INCLUDING POOL AREAS. HELP FIGHT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19.

If an outfit does not comply with the dress-code, Guests will be denied entry. Per the Walt Disney World website: Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. The parks are a casual, family-oriented environment.

Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment. Clothing with multiple layers are subject to search upon entry. Visible tattoos that could be considered inappropriate, such as those containing objectionable language or designs. Bare feet.

Note that in addition to guests staying at Disney-run Deluxe and Deluxe Villa hotels, those staying at the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green all have access to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (EETPH).

All Guests can use their MagicBands to access their theme park tickets, Lightning Lane reservations, and Disney PhotoPass account. Guests who are staying at one of the Disney Resort hotels can also use their MagicBands to access their hotel rooms and make purchases that are charged to their room accounts.

You may buy them on your own but they are only good for getting in and out of the park and using fast passes while in the park. The swan and dolphin are not set up for magic bands for room entrance, crediting purchases to rooms or meal plans. We used our disney cards, for entrance to the parks and for fast passes.

The parks are a casual, family-oriented environment. “ Typical theme park attire might include shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, sneakers, sandals, or flip-flops. If your clothing meets these requirements, then you are welcome to eat at most Disney dining establishments.

For Disney, inappropriate clothing does not necessarily have to mean that it is offensive or revealing. One of the major reasons for turning away certain types of clothing is for safety, both of the Guest wearing the item and others around them.

Can you wear a sports bra at Disney? Disney reserves the right to bar anyone from the park it deems to be wearing improper attire. Therefore, cast members may prevent you from accessing the grounds if you wear a sports bra, crop top, or similar item.

Walt Disney World Dolphin offers a bit more in savings when compared with the Swan, perhaps because of its larger size and many on-site activities. For some people, this can be a benefit, but if you're looking to relax, the more expensive Swan offers more peace and quiet.

The Swan and Dolphin are considered “Deluxe” resorts at Disney World, meaning they have amenities in common with the other Disney-owned Deluxe resorts.

Can I use my MagicBand at the Swan? ›

While the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is located on Walt Disney World Resort property, it's not part of the Disney Resorts Collection, so unfortunately, you won't be able to use your MagicBands during your trip to open your hotel room door.

Smart casual includes items like blazers, sports jackets, dresses, sweaters, trousers, khakis, skirts, blouses, button-down shirts, polos, dress shoes, boots, heels, flats, scarves and jewelry.

The Disney Look is a standardized image that Disney expects from its Cast Members in order to give Guests the most exceptional show possible. It is clean, natural, polished and approachable.

Personally, cheap flip-flops are not what I would ever wear to the Disney Parks, but it's really up to you. Disney's official site does not mention anything about wearing flip-flops to both parks. But you are more than welcome to bring them along on your next trip!

Be respectful of the characters.

Remember that characters are people, too! Yes, you can hug them, but please be respectful with your body language and comments. Just like you would with any other person, keep your interaction appropriate and respectful.

Swan, Swan Reserve, and Dolphin are about a mile away by foot. The Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are on the far side of Crescent Lake from Hollywood Studios. You'll have to walk just over a mile to get from there to the Park entrance.

The best of the best in this arm are rooms 8015, 7015, 5015, 4015, and 3015. Rooms with balconies at the Dolphin generally run upwards of $40 a night more than rooms without.
