Eli is a character on Felicity, portrayed by Simon Rex.
Story[]
Eli is a boho type art student at University of New York. He meets Felicity when she rediscovers her interest in art and visits the studios at the university. They get along well and he represents the draw Felicity feels to the art world and a hitherto neglected part of herself. When Noel's ex-girlfriend Hannah resurfaces and asks Noel for help with something, Noel starts being conflicted between his old feelings for Hannah and his new relationship with Felicity. Felicity feels Noel pulling away and tries to keep him while also unsure how much to communicate her fears about Hannah.
When they have a fight and Noel leaves with Hannah, Felicity goes to the art studio to paint late at night and Eli's there. She and Eli end up having sex, Felicity's first time doing so. Afterwards, she regrets it as she loves Noel and when Noel finds out they break up. Noel goes looking for a fight with Eli, who tries to diffuse the situation. Felicity goes to see Eli to apologise for how things happened, but he says it's okay that she just wanted to escape, but tells her surreptitiously that he likes her and if it doesn't work out with Noel, she should call him. Around Christmas her sophom*ore year, Felicity and Noel are drawn together again and Felicity has dreams about what to do, which include Eli.
