Felicity comes to an end in its fourth and final season as graduation approaches and Felicity and her friends are forced to make some life altering choices. This season Felicity and Ben breakup after she cheats on him with Noel, Noel and Shawn team-up for a new business venture, Ben fathers a child, and Shawn and Megan get married. However, in a bizarre twist everything is undone in the final 5-episode arc where Felicity goes back in time (for real). Yet as nonsensical and out of character for the show as this time-travel arc is, it's kind of fun to see a Bizarro-Felicity where everything happens differently because of different choices. Keri Russell and Scott Speedman deliver some of their best of work of the series, and overall the season's a lot more consistent than last season. Also, the soundtrack is especially well-done, giving an emotional residence to the show. Still, the garbage clip-show series finale is unforgivable, and the absence of any reference to 9/11 in this New York City based show is glaring. Yet despite the time-travel craziness at the end, Season 4 of Felicity is entertaining and full of compelling drama.
