FHM magazine is back after a six-year break – and promises to be as scandalous as ever.

The popular lads’ mag was a favourite of the Nineties and Noughties, but published its last issue with Holly Willoughby on the cover in January 2016.

Famous for its 100 Sexiest Women Poll and raunchy celebrity photoshoots, it helped propel the careers of stars such as Michelle Keegan, Kelly Brook and Rachel Stevens, among others.

Bauer Media took the decision to stop publishing FHM, saying “young men’s media habits have continually moved towards mobile and social”.

But following a soft relaunch in October 2021, it has unveiled its first celebrity cover star – Sabrina Washington, former lead singer of iconic girl band Mis-Teeq.

In a change of direction to the old FHM, Sabrina has the distinction of being the magazine’s oldest ever cover star at 43.

Prior to that, model and actress Carmen Electra was the oldest, gracing the cover aged 41.

Sabrina’s “Scandalous” 10-page shoot took place at legendary nightclub Stringfellow’s in London’s Soho.

The burlesque-themed spread was also shot by leading female photographer Veronika Marx.

On the cover, Sabrina looks incredible baring all, with only two burgundy coloured burlesque feather fans covering her modesty.

Looking every inch the pop queen, she completed her look with a gold chandelier headdress.

Other stories to grace the front cover include ‘Laptop Love: The Cougar’s Perspective’ and ‘DNA Health Tips’.

In another shot inside the magazine, Sabrina is shown sitting at a booth in Stringfellow’s wearing a beautiful powder blue puff sleeve gown.

While a third outfit shows her in a similar see-through dress, this time in emerald green posing in front of a gold stripper pole.

Twenty years on from shooting to fame at the age of just 22 as part of Mis-Teeq, it’s Sabrina’s first shoot for FHM.

Their biggest hits included Why?, All I Want and Scandalous and saw them sell 12 million records worldwide.

Sabrina told the magazine that while she’s still in the music business, she has aspirations to have an acting career.

She said: “My dream is to do a West End show, something like Rachel Marron in the Bodyguard or Mamma Morton in Chicago. Oh, and be a Bond Girl!

“My friend Lizzie Cundy was a Bond Girl in the 90s, so I’m hoping she’ll put in a good word for me!”

The February issue of FHM is out now.
