Hold the power button
First, try holding down your phone's power button for 5-7 seconds. This usually restarts a phone.
Troubleshoot your cable, power adapter, outlet & case
Try to charge another device with your power adapter and cable.
Check that the cable is securely connected to the adapter and to your phone.
Check that there's nothing in the port of your phone, like dust or lint.
Try to charge your phone with another cable or power adapter.
Troubleshoot yourbattery charge
Plug in your phone with a working cable, charger, and outlet, then wait one minute.
If you see abattery icon, your phoneis powered off and is charging. You can restart right away.
If you see a red light, your battery is fully discharged. If the red light is flashing, there isn't enough power to turn on. Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes before restarting.
If you don't see a battery icon or red light after you plug in your phone, the issue could be with your screen.

Plug the phone into the proper charger and allow the device to charge for 48 hours. After the device has charged for 48 hours, turn the device on and check the battery's power level. You may find that your once-dead battery is revived, and is now able to hold a charge again.

There is a secret code in the dialer, *#0228#, that resets the battery callibration completely, killing the phone straight to 0% and asking you to charge to full.
Recalibrating the battery on Android is very simple, just follow these steps: Charge the device to 100% and leave it charging for another one or two hours, without using it. Disconnect the charger and use the smartphone normally, until it reaches 0% and turns off. Charge it again to 100%
