We do not recommend using partial envelopes of the products. Once the envelope is opened, contents may be affected by air, heat, humidity, etc. We recommend using the entire contents of envelopes at one time because the products are made up of many components. Use of partial contents may result in an imbalance of ingredients and less than favorable results. It is preferable to prepare the entire amount and store any leftovers for later use.

Do Lipton® Soup Secrets® Or Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Products Contain Msg?

If MSG is present in a product either directly added or as a component of another ingredient, it will be listed on the label as MSG or monosodium glutamate. It is never hidden under any other ingredient listing. Lipton’s practice is to use MSG only when we believe it is necessary to formulate the best tasting product.

Ingredients that may contain gluten are always listed on the label. Since product formulations change from time to time, we do not have a printed list of products that identifies those products that contain specific allergens or gluten. The best advice we can give you is to check the ingredient list on the label. If you cannot determine whether the product contains the ingredient in question, we suggest you do not use it.

We do make Lipton® Noodle Soup with Chicken under our line of Kosher Soups. However, because of the variety of ingredients, especially meat and poultry derivatives the other Soup Secrets® products are NOT kosher.
