Early Life[]

Hathor was once a goddess who brought the dead to the underworld, however it was Horus who saved her from such a fate, slaying demons and giving her a bracelet which protected her from returning to the underworld.

Gods of Egypt (2016)[]

Powers & Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Extended Longevity: Like all the other gods, Hathor can live an extremely long lifespan. Such a lifespan is longer than a normal human being, possibly making her thousands of years old, yet remaining extremely young.
  • Teleportation: Having been formerly a servant of the underworld, Hathor can teleport from place to place by removing the bracelet given to her by Horus. Once she puts it back on, she will return to Earth.
  • Hypnotism: As the goddess of love, Hathor possesses the ability to manipulate any man or woman, whether they be mortal, god or beast to do her bidding using an overwhelming emotion of love to control them. When she uses such an ability, her eyes will glow a brief gold and she will say "I command you".
  • Clairvoyance: Hathor has the ability to see or find people using magic. She can enchant the sand in the desert to show her the whereabouts of two people connected by love and what they are doing in that moment - for both the living and the those journeying to the afterlife. She can even communicate with them.

Weaknesses[]

  • Power Limitation: Despite her ability to manipulate beings to do her bidding, Hathor's hypnotic powers can only work on those who's heart doesn't belong to another. This was seen when she attempted to use it on Bek, however found that he was in love with Zaya, making it ineffective. As far as her teleportation ability goes, she can do it at anytime, however if she doesn't have the bracelet close to her while in mid-teleport, she cannot come back to the Earth.
