What is an invalid signature? ›

An invalid signature on a ballot initiative petition is a signature that an election official determined does not meet the state or local legal standards.

The “Invalid Token” message indicates that a link has either been used previously, or has expired. To generate a new link, reset your password again through the main login screen. If you continue to have trouble, ensure you are referencing the most current Password Reset link.

If the signature verification fails, it means the token might be tampered with after generation, or the signing process was faulty. An invalid signature would result in the API Gateway rejecting the token, leading to a “403 Access Denied” error.

A signature can be rendered invalid if it is not consistent throughout the document. This includes instances where different pens are used for signing and witnessing a legal document. Even if all other aspects are flawless, the use of different pen colours or types would render the document invalid.

As long as it records the intent of the parties involved in a contractual agreement, it's a valid signature. Usually, this mark is made by a pen, but not necessarily. Anything that marks the paper can be a signature. Pencil is not favored because it can smudge and be erased.

If a digital signature isn't valid, there can be many causes. For example, the sender's certificate may have expired, it may have been revoked by the certificate authority (CA), or the server that verifies the certificate might be unavailable. Notify the message sender of the problem.

This could be due to incorrect credentials or an expired session. To resolve this issue, you can try the following: 1) Verify the token and ensure it's correct. 2) If the token is expired, you may need to refresh or generate a new one.

40103 Invalid signature in request credentials indicates that the signature is formatted incorrectly. To resolve this, you should verify that the signature is encoded in hexadecimal ASCII; is using the correct HMAC-SHA1 signature as the password; and lists the parameters in alphabetical order.
