Weekend Brunch
Join La Mar by Gaston Acurio every Sunday from 1230 until 3 pm for a sumptuous and glamorous brunch experience, offering Peruvian inspired cuisine by Executive Chef Diego Oka served to stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the Brickell skyline. The finest and freshest seafood, grill stations and delicious Chaufa Aeropuerto can be followed by your choice of main course and an array of tempting desserts. Brunch also includes two-hours of co*cktails, select wines, beers and champagne.
Group Dining
La Mar by Gastón Acurio's contemporary dining room and two expansive terraces overlooking Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline offer the perfect location for group dining, whether celebrating with family and friends or hosting a corporate event. La Mar's dining room and terraces can accommodate groups between 20 to 100 guests, while for larger parties, exclusive use of the restaurant space can be arranged. Guests can enjoy customized menus, ranging from authentic passed hors d’oeuvres to a lavish sit-down dinner menu.
Chef Diego Oka
One of the most celebrated figures in South Florida’s dining scene and a recognized leader of Latin American cuisine in the U.S., Chef Diego Oka has parlayed exceptional culinary skills and an innate eye for creativity into a successful trajectory spanning over two decades. Since 2014, Oka has held the prestigious role of Executive Chef at La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Mandarin Oriental, Miami’s award-winning restaurant which was recognized by the inaugural Florida Michelin Guide as a recommended restaurant and recently received a coveted inclusion in the reputable 50 Best Discovery search engine.
Born and raised in Lima, Peru, one of the world’s most diverse and eclectic culinary destinations, Oka incorporates a myriad of influences into his deliciously inventive signature international cuisine including his Peruvian and Japanese descent; his early years spent in his grandmother’s kitchen where he first discovered the art of cooking; as well as his extensive travels across South and Central America.
