All Levi's® brand products have a limited 2 year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, or the natural breakdown of materials over an extended period of time.

At Levi's®, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to love every purchase. All Levi's® products are backed by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects (excluding normal wear and tear).

Two free repairs per year: Offer valid on Levi's® Jeans or Truckers only. Must be redeemed at a Levi's® Tailor Shop within a Levi's® store in the United States. Limited to up to $30 USD.

In partnership with Cotton Inc.'s Blue Jeans Go Green Program™, you can drop your jeans off at select Levi's® stores and we'll help recycle them. * You can also take “recycling” in another direction, turning your clothes into instant vintage for someone else. Donate your jeans to a second-hand shop.

If for any reason you're not fully satisfied, we will gladly accept your returns or exchanges if the merchandise is in its original and unworn condition, defective, or an incorrect item with original tags attached.

RAW DENIM, Forever

Raw denim is the purest form of denim, carefully constructed to last a lifetime. It doesn't have any additional treatments or washes added during the production process.

The average lifespan for a pair of jeans, according to the International Fabric Institute Fair Claims Guide, is 2-3 years.

We accept Levi's jeans, denim shorts, and Trucker Jackets in good condition. Trade-in credits range from $5 to $35 based on your item's age, condition and original retail price.

Repairing your jeans is the first thing you can do to keep them in your wardrobe rotation. Repairs save you from buying new, and it's an easy, sustainable habit to get into for the price of a needle and thread.

So you found the perfect pair of jeans or a Trucker jacket you love, but you want to add a little flair. No prob. Distress, embroider, re-construct, accessorize (patches and pins please) and so much more at one of our Tailor Shops conveniently located in stores nationwide.

Drop them off at participating Levi's® stores and we'll give you a gift card. Then we clean, sort and list your clothes on SecondHand.levi.com, so they can be worn and loved by someone else. When you shop Levi's® SecondHand, you'll help the planet by extending the life of quality garments.

In-Store Return: You can enjoy the flexibility of returning your item at any of our Levi's® stores in your country of purchase for a same-day refund, free of charge.

It really depends on how often you wear them and how you use them. If you wear them every day and wash them often they will wear out in a couple of years. If you're willing to repair your Levi's I think the average pair would go for 5–10 years with 1–2 repair jobs.

Bring preloved jeans of any brand to your local Madewell and we'll resell them or recycle them through a partner like Cotton's Blue Jeans Go Green™ program.

With the patent expiring in 1890, Levi Strauss & Co. needed a symbol to ensure consumers understood how good – and strong – the company's jeans were. The answer came in the image of two horses – each pulling in the opposite direction on the same pair of jeans, trying in vain to tear them apart.

In 2002, the company closed its Valencia Street plant in San Francisco, which opened the year of the city's April 1906 earthquake. By the end of 2003, the closure of Levi's last U.S. factory in San Antonio ended 150 years of jeans made in the United States.
