I've been playing this certain Sim for a while now, and she met this guy and they quickly fell in love and became "Soulmates". Unfortunately, my Sim had to break up with him because he would flirt with every female sim in sight. My Sim met a new guy, and I was wondering if it was possible if my Sim and him could become "Soulmates"? Or will I forever have the "Soulmate" status with the old guy?

I would hate it if there was only "one" in game and it nothing to do with choice. My sim could be in a perfectly happy, functional relationship and then come across "the one"?! How horrible!

Just experienced first-hand that it is possible for Sims to have more than one "Soulmate". Thanks for all the replies. And @NOVEMBER_11SARAH, no, it was not Don Lothario, but I've had relationship problems with him in the past...

Personally I'm happy they can have more then one, I'd rather my Sims only have SOME of the struggles of reality.
..Soulmates are real right..

There should only be one randomly selected and placed in your game... your sim can pray to you that the game doesn't cull him before they meet. :P
Oh yes, i'd love that! Sims fall in love so easily and they could still do for those who are control freaks, but for those who like some surprises and challenge we could go soul mate hunting! And you could have a cheat to select the soulmate if you'll hate that you can't decide everything for your sims.
I've always wanted my sims to fall in love with other sims i disapprove of! That would be so cute and funny and somewhat romantic!

As I play the sims 4, I often think intently about soul mates... My ex cheated and got sick afterwards, he's thin and I feel terrible about it.
So when I play this game sometimes I do cry and it hurts when my char has a soulmate, and my ex soulmate is dying in rl.
So I try everythin to avoid death in the game, like I don't want too thin sims, and I don't want overtly sexual type sims because it saddens me about my ex soulmate.
