Nicholas "Nick" Skolka (1963) is a recurring character on Netflix series Grace and Frankie. He is portrayed by Peter Gallagher. He is the husband of Grace Hanson.

History[]

Nicholas "Nick" Skolka was born in 1963 to Mr. Skolka, who died at some point, and Cathleen Skolka. At some point after college he found and bought Omni Tech, a business focussing on technilogical advancements. It is probably at this point that he moved to San Diego.

He married his business partner, Miriam Skolka, and they had a son: Keith Skolka. They fought a lot and their marriage ultimately proved to be void. When Miriam cheated on Nick with Giacomo, the cleaner who brought their son to soccer, Nick divorced her. They continued to be business partners and they would often laugh about their marriage, considering it a joke. They agreed they both had been bad parents to their son, and ultimately couldn't even remember why they were married and for how long.

Nick remarried to an unknown second woman, whom he divorced. He then married Danielle, who was unpopular with both Keith and Nick's mother, Cathleen. She turned to reality television, being a star on Real Housewives for two episodes. She got a DUI and a spin-off show after their divorce, and an ankle bracelet.

Nick then got to know Grace Hanson, after his company stole her company's vibrator. Nick courted Grace relentlessly, often while bragging about his vast fortune. She turned him down a lot until he proposed and they had eloped in Las Vegas in 2019.

Within a year he was arrested by FBI agent Karin Fenmore for tax evasion and security fraud. He told Grace he loved her as they were forced to say goodbye.
