Eligibility and Enrollment

Am I eligible for the Subscription Program? What if I'm a minor?

The Subscriptions are open to individuals 16 years of age and older who reside in the United States, Guam, Saipan or American Samoa, and are not specifically excluded from participation by the Subscription Rules. Individuals who are minors in their state of residence must have their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enroll and participate in the Subscription Program.

How do I become a Subscription Program member?

Please complete the enrollment process via the Appor Online.

Can I enroll in person at a Regal theatre? How about on Regal’s website?

Unfortunately, no. You must enroll via the App.

Do I need an active Crown Club account in order to enroll? What about to use my Subscription?

You do not need an active Crown Club account to enroll. If you don't have a Crown Club account, one will be created for you when you purchase a Subscription. (Remember, Crown Club accounts are free!) However, you must have an active Crown Club account in order to use your Subscription (e.g., obtain admission tickets) after enrollment.

Why do I need to provide Regal with a photo of myself?

The photograph will be used by Regal for identification and fraud prevention purposes when you obtain and/or present admission tickets at the theatre, or use your Subscription Pass to enjoy other Subscription Program discounts and benefits. The photo must be a “head and shoulders” portrait photograph (similar to a driver’s license or other photo ID) that clearly reflects your current appearance.

Can I enroll if I already have an active Crown Club account?

Yep! Log in to your Crown Club account to complete enrollment.

I enrolled but can’t find my Subscription Pass. Where is it?

Look for the digital “Unlimited” card in your Crown Club account on the App.

I’m new to the Crown Club. Where can I find more information about it?

General Information About Your Subscription

Is there a minimum Subscription term length?

Yes. Each Subscription has an initial, non-cancelable term of either three months or one year (depending on which plan you choose), subject to certain limited exceptions set forth in the Subscription Rules.

Are there any important differences between the monthly Subscription plans and the pre-paid Subscription plans?

There are a couple of important differences:

  • The monthly plan will be billed on a monthly basis until it is cancelled. Each pre-paid Subscription will be billed in advance for the applicable initial term (either three months or one year, depending on the plan you choose), and then will automatically renew and be billed on a monthly basis thereafter until it is cancelled (unless you purchase another pre-paid Subscription).
  • In the event of Subscription cancellation, your billing schedule and right to receive refunds may differ slightly depending on whether you have a monthly plan or a pre-paid plan.

Can I use the same mobile app as I do for the Crown Club?

Yes. Both programs use the Regal Cinemas mobile application.

What happens if I change mobile devices?

If you change mobile devices, access to your Subscription will be disabled on your old device and must be activated on your new device. Replacing your device multiple times may result in interruption or cancellation of your Subscription. Please contact Customer Relations to discuss any issues with your Subscription that occur when changing your device.

How can I manage my Subscription?

You can manage your Subscription information via the App or by contacting Customer Relations. Payment methods must be changed via the App.

How will Regal communicate with me regarding my Subscription?

Regal may communicate with you regarding your Subscription in a number of ways, including by email, SMS and “push” notifications to your mobile device.

Can someone else use my Subscription?

No. Your Subscription and Subscription Pass may be used to make reservations and obtain admission tickets for use only by you.

Can I obtain a physical Subscription Pass?

No. Your Subscription Pass is digital only and located in the App.

Fees

Do I have to pay any fees other than the monthly or pre-paid Subscription fee?

It's possible.

  • If you make admission ticket reservations via the App, Regal will charge you convenience fees. (A reduced convenience fee of $0.50 (plus applicable taxes) will apply per Subscription Program ticket.) Convenience fees and applicable taxes are subject to change at any time in Regal’s sole discretion.
  • If you want to use your Subscription to obtain admission tickets for (i) premium format showtimes (e.g., ScreenX, 4DX, IMAX, RPX, 3D, and VIP), (ii) theatres not included in your Subscription plan (“Restricted Theatres”) or (iii) eligible movie event showtimes (e.g., marathons, double features and fan events), you will be required to pay a surcharge. All showtimes may be subject to an additional surcharge for premium seating.
  • Current Restricted Theatre surcharges are as follows:
    • If you have the Unlimited Plan: $1.50 for a Restricted Theatre offered under the Unlimited Plus Plan, and $3.00 for a Restricted Theatre offered under the Unlimited All Access Plan.
    • If you have the Unlimited Plus Plan: $1.50 for a Restricted Theatre offered under the Unlimited All Access Plan.
  • Regal may change any surcharges at any time in its sole discretion, with or without notice to you.
  • Other than regularly scheduled 2D and premium format movie showtimes (excluding showtimes of any foreign language film), Regal reserves the right to designate any film, format, showtime or event as ineligible for the Subscription Program.

Can I upgrade my Subscription plan to a more expensive plan?

Yes. Please contact Customer Assistance at https://www.regmovies.com/rcc/contact-us to request the change. Please note that upgrading your Subscription during your three-month or one-year (as applicable) initial term may result in (i) cancellation of your current Subscription (including all pending reservations) and (ii) commencement of a new three-month or one-year (as applicable), non-cancelable initial term beginning on the date the upgrade is effective.

I missed my Subscription payment. Can I still use my Subscription Pass?

Relationship Between Your Subscription Plan and Your Crown Club Account

How is the Subscription Program different from the Crown Club?

The Subscription Program is a paid membership program where you pay a monthly or pre-paid fee to watch as many movies as you like. The Crown Club is a free rewards program where you earn credits for purchasing admission tickets and concessions and redeem such credits for rewards.

Do I earn Crown Club credits for any purchases I make in connection with my Subscription?

One hundred Crown Club credits will be earned for every $1.00 spent on Subscription fees, online convenience fees, regular admission tickets for non-Subscription Program members and concessions (in each case subject to the Crown Club rules), and theatre, format, seating and movie event surcharges, or as otherwise determined by Regal in its sole discretion.

What happened to my Crown Club digital card in the App? I don’t see it.

Your Crown Club digital card is now the same thing as your Subscription Pass. You may use your Subscription Pass just as you would your old Crown Club digital card to earn Crown Club credits and redeem them for Crown Club rewards.

Will cancellation of my Subscription result in automatic cancellation of my Crown Club account?

No. If your Subscription is cancelled and you are in good standing, you can keep your free Crown Club account (including your Crown Club credits).

Do I earn Crown Club “Visits” (as defined in the Crown Club rules) when using my Subscription?

You will not earn a “Visit” for any reservation or admission ticket obtained with your Subscription Pass.

If I have a Subscription, can I cancel my Crown Club account without cancelling my Subscription?

No. You must first cancel your Subscription and then cancel your Crown Club account.

Miscellaneous

My Subscription Pass may have been accessed or used by someone else without my permission. What should I do?

Please immediately contact Customer Relations. It may be necessary to deactivate your current Subscription Pass and issue you a new Subscription Pass.

Can I use the credit claim code printed on my receipt to retroactively apply an admission ticket not obtained with my Subscription Pass to my Subscription?

No. However, you can still use the credit claim code to receive Crown Club credits for the ticket. Please see “I forgot my Card and Card number. Will I still be awarded credits for my purchase?” on our Crown Club FAQ page for more information.

Can I add my Subscription Pass to Apple or Google Wallets?

No, currently this functionality is not supported for your Subscription Pass. You can, however, use Apple Pay to make payments on the App.
