How to remove dye in Final Fantasy 14? ›

A pot of terebinth removes the dye from a single item. Terebinth is available from the market board or vendors.

On the item you want to dye, check the top right corner for a small colored circle. If this icon is present, that means the item can be dyed.

Ultimately, Jet Black Dye in Final Fantasy 14 is a difficult and rare item to acquire. A good alternative that you can opt for is Soot Black Dye if your attempts to get your hands on Jet Black Dye become too expensive or difficult.

Removing Signs

Select the same sign again to remove it. Signs can be dragged from the menu directly onto a hotbar.

Take a white cloth and dampen it with a commercial stain remover, rubbing alcohol, hairspray, or any clear solvent that is 90% alcohol. Dab the stain with the white cloth repeatedly, and the dye should keep transferring from your garment onto the white cloth. Afterward, rinse in warm water. Proceed with normal wash.

Petroleum jelly can also act as a stain-removal agent after dyeing. Begin by gently rubbing petroleum jelly into the stain.
