Shadow High is one of the 6 known schools to exist in the Rainbow High universe. The first is Rainbow High, the second is Pacific Coast High, which is a sister school/annex to Rainbow High, and the third is Shadow High, which is a neighboring school, the fourth is Seoul Select a school from Korea, Kingsley High, a school from Australia, and the final one is Bottom Barrel High.
Shadow High is known to be Rainbow High's rival school. Shadow High grew jealous of them as they would always win and manipulate results but they also claim that Rainbow High badly wants to be "them."
Shadow High wants revenge to Rainbow High and planned to take over Rainbow Vision, which is a music competition hosted and always won by Rainbow High. They feel Rainbow High always cheats and that's why they win.
However not every Shadow High student feels the same way, such as Neon Shadow who are open to work with the Rainbow High students.

Dolls
All dolls have the same articulation and style as a normal Rainbow High doll, however unlike Rainbow High dolls, they aren’t monochromatic to a specific color and instead feature multiple shades and colors of the same color or name of a single color. The Series 1 dolls were all in grayscale and have no colors except their eyes. Other dolls that came out however had colorful skintones except for Ainsley Slater, who looks more like a Rainbow High doll. They include new stands that have little spikes on it, and comb molds specifically made for Shadow High dolls and their packaging is a flipped version, the second outfits being on the right side instead of left. The Shadow High Series 2 and Costume Ball dolls do not come with seconds outfits, but Series 2 do come with accessories.
