What is Shinola's warranty? ›

Shinola is proud to offer a limited warranty on every watch

To back up that claim, we offer a limited lifetime warranty on our metal quartz and automatic timepieces, and a 3-year limited warranty on our TR90 resin and ocean plastic timepieces.

Many critics have argued that Shinola has no real heritage. Their argument generally goes like this. Shinola's founders took an old shoe polish brand totally unrelated to watchmaking and tried to artificially capture the nostalgia of America's past with their designs and promises to revitalize Detroit.

We accept returns by mail or in store for items purchased from Shinola within 30 days of the purchase date excluding *these items. Domestic orders $95 and over qualify for a prepaid return label, excluding bicycles. Items must be returned with original packaging and in new/unused condition.

We guarantee your Smith & Bradley watch will last a lifetime. If you have a problem, call us at 833-572-8463 or email us at service@sbwatch.com and we will be there to help you. Smith & Bradley will either fix or replace your watch free of charge.

The warranty period varies depending on the product and the manufacturer. Some products have a short warranty period of only a few months, while others have a warranty period of several years. In some cases, manufacturers offer extended warranty periods for an additional fee.

TRUE's obligation under this warranty is limited to a period of three (3) years from the date of original installation or thirty nine (39) months after shipment date from TRUE, whichever occurs first.

Lifetime – A lifetime warranty is a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship that has no time limit to make a claim. It is a hassle-free experience, free from any “fine print” that puts the onus on the buyer for something out of their control.

During the warranty period the watch movement, hands and dial are the only components covered under this warranty. These will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of repair charges, if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use.

The term “wear and tear” is often defined in a warranty agreement, and covers the degradation of vehicle parts through normal use and the vehicle ageing over time.

Bumper-to-bumper warranties typically last between 3 years/36,000 miles and 5 years/60,000 miles, while powertrain warranties can extend up to 10 years/100,000 miles. Your factory warranty length depends on your car manufacturer, but it can be extended with a vehicle service contract.

That it should be a simple case of getting repair, replacement or refund if the item becomes faulty within 2 years. Be warned you might think that after 2 years you have no guarantees; or that your rights are limited to the terms and conditions of the warranty.
