Summer Reading - MBLC (1)

Each summer, an average of 400,000 children, teens, and adults participate in summer library programming. Funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and supported by the Boston Bruins, the MBLC works with the Massachusetts Library System (MLS) to coordinate the statewide summer library program. Starting in 2022, Massachusetts will be using the iREAD Summer Reading Program.

Who is it for? The Summer Reading Challenge is aimed at children from 4-11 years old. It supports this age group and their families by: Preparing children to get back to the classroom in the autumn.
