Our certifications help you make safe and quick skincare decisions—because clean beauty shouldn’t be confusing.

The Evereden team has been overachievers since we first learned how to walk (and some of us got boo-boos when we tried to run before we were ready…), but we pushed ourselves above and beyond in our mission to ensure that Evereden is the safest skincare brand in the world for the entire family. We wish it weren’t the case, but the cosmetics product landscape is full of confusing jargon, opaque formulations and unethical manufacturing practices, and neglectful regulations that put consumers at serious risk. For example, while the European Union has banned about 1,400 harmful ingredients found in cosmetics, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has banned 12 of them. We worry, too—we’re mothers and doctors and loyal skincare enthusiasts, after all. That’s why we took the responsibility of not only banning 2,000 ingredients from our products, but also seeking five certifications that help you spot truly safe skincare products easily. MADE SAFE®, a program of the not-for-profit Nontoxic Certified, is the first American nontoxic seal for personal care and household products. Their team of scientists scrutinizes the molecular makeup of each product before it passes certification, making sure that neither the product nor its byproducts impact human health.

USDA Certified Biobased Product

The USDA Certified Biobased Product label assures consumers that the product contains a USDA-verified amount of renewable biological ingredients, which replace fossil fuels like petroleum, commonly found in skincare. It lists the percentage of biobased ingredients in each product to help promote awareness of and demand for renewables. All products must submit test evidence to earn the label.

National Eczema Association (NEA) Seal of Acceptance™

The NEA Seal of Acceptance™ helps consumers recognize products that are safe for eczema or sensitive skin. The criteria include a list of known irritants to avoid and testing on sensitivity.
