The Deported - Far Cry 6 Guide - IGN (2024)

This page of the IGN Far Cry 6 guide contains a complete walkthrough of the El Este mission; The Deported.

LOADOUT RECOMMENDATION: During this mission we used the Medico Supremo with the Yaran Steel mod and the Auto Turret, Proximity Explosives, and Healing Syringe Gadget Mods. We also used a suppressed RMS-18 Shotgun with Buckshot rounds and a suppressed SSGP-58 with Armor Piercing rounds.

The Deported

After finishing Yelena and Lucky Mamas missions in La Joya, Yelena will call and tell you that Clara reached out and made a recommendation. A recommendation that, uncharacteristically, Yelena is taking. The job? Destroy Castillo’s gasolina reserves in the area.

The silos are in eastern La Joya and Yelena will send pictures. The silos are easy to spot, and they

If you finished Weapon of Choice last, like we did, the most efficient way to get through these is by starting at the southernmost silo and working your way up the coast.

The closest one is the La Joya Fuel Depot, which can be found in between the CODENAME: COQUETTE Ambush and the La Joya Pipeline Substation 3 at La Joya Refinery.

As you approach from the west, you can find a tank on the side of the road. Hop in and you can use your main gun to destroy both silos from across the road, bringing you up to 19% completion.

FND Crate Location: You can easily clear the enemies out and find an FND crate. Head through the gate and enter the building on the left to find it.

The next station is up the coast, so drive north along the main road and take a right onto the first dirt path you find, which has a sign next to it that says, “McKay Global Chemical Storage.”

Almost as soon as you turn off onto the road, you’ll see the site. You don’t even need to get closer to the station. Simply aim the tank’s main gun at the red and green-striped silos on the left side and fire.

FND Crate Location: Just like the last site, this location has an FND crate. Head through the gate and enter the second building on the left and you’ll find it.

With this set of silos destroyed, the progress bar will fill to 29%, meaning it’s time to head to the next station.

Head back to the main road and drive north, and La Joya Refinery will be on your left. Like the others, you can take out the silos from outside the complex with the tank.

Both silos are on the northern side, so blow them up and the meter should climb to 48%, and Yelena will call.

At this point you can head to the last location, but you don’t need to. You can skip that step, divert, and go join the assault on La Joya Port.

Join The Assault On La Joya Port

La Joya port has at least seven silos, and there are more than you need to hit 100% of your goal, and they can all be clearly seen from the road. The four large silos will take multiple hits, while the skinnier, smaller silos will go down in one shot of your tank’s cannon.

Regroup With La Moral

Once you’ve blown then all up, Yelena will call again and get cut off. She’ll call again and say you should regroup with the others to begin the final push, so drive into the port.

As soon as you enter the complex, Yelena will tell you McKay is hiding in the office in his main warehouse.

Find McKay

Drive down the main road at the port, and you’ll run into a firefight near the warehouse, which is on your right. A tank will pull out of the warehouse garage, so take it out with your tank, then clear out some of the soldiers and hop out.

Run into the warehouse and take the stairs on the right side. Follow them as they circle around, then open the door and a cinematic will trigger.

Escape The Warehouse

Luckily, McKay’s trap here isn’t as dire as the one at the chemical plant, so as soon as you regain control, sprint ahead and jump out the window to escape the warehouse before it explodes.

Stop The Cargo Ships

Now all that’s left is to stop the cargo ships and reach McKay. Run down to the dock to find a jetski (which, conveniently, has a machine gun mounted to it). Hop on it and chase after the cargo ship.

Destroy The Cargo Ship’s Hull

Once you get close, an attack boat will depart. Destroy it with your mounted gun (A or Cross by default) and then target the smoking corner of the hull until it bursts open.

Jump off the jetski and swim inside the hull breach, then climb the stairs on your right to begin your assault on the ship.

Find McKay

Make your way through the armored soldiers between you and the main deck, and equip your close-range gear.

Your goal is to reach the door to the bridge, so you don’t actually have to fight. Use your healing items (Syringes, Medico Supremo, etc.) and make a break for the back of the ship, then take the stairs up and to the left, and open the door to the bridge to trigger the cinematic.

Leave McKay Alone & Head Back To Shore OR Kill McKay

At this point, McKay will ask you to stop and hold up his phone. Someone wants to speak with you.

NOTE: If you equip the Miami Strip Slacks, you’ll gain 6,250 Pesos for sparing McKay. Otherwise, you’ll gain 5,000 Pesos for walking away. If you choose to kill him, you’ll get the “Canadian, Eh?” Wrist Armor, which gives you a small amount of Pesos for killing enemies with Poison damage. Leave La Moral HQ

Now that the fight is over and the party has begun, head outside of La Moral HQ to complete the Operation and bring an end to our time in El Este.
