The Mission
The first objective of the story operation Tourist Trap is to disable McKay's wave jammers. Disabling the first one will unlock this side mission.
Wave jammers are mobile box containers with a platform on top. Sticking out of the platform is a mast with jamming antennas and a green light on top. The green light makes them easy to see at night. They also make a distinctive mechanical screeching sound when you are near one.
To disarm a wave jammer you must get onto the platform and interact with the orange box attached to the mast. Shooting it or blowing it up will not work.
There are a total of eleven wave jammers. They are all situated around the McKay Global Offices in the Mirador Cape section of southern La Joya. All the wave jammers are in restricted areas. Some are guarded, some are not. Many of them have tripwires around them.
When you have disarmed six of them, Yelena will call saying that the signal strength is okay. You can proceed with the story operation Tourist Trap at this point, or continue to disarm the wave jammers. After disarming seven of them, Yelena will discover the location of the remaining four, and objective markers will appear on your map. Disarm all eleven to complete the mission.

Getting Onto the Platforms
Most wave jammer platforms can be accessed by climbing or grappling up onto them. A few have more involved ways to get to them. See below for details for each wave jammer.
- Wave Jammer 1: Climb some crates to get on top of the jammer, then climb a ladder to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 2: Grapple from the ground to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 3: Zipline from the roof of the building nearby.
- Wave Jammer 4: Grapple from the ground to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 5: Climb a ladder from the ground to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 6: Move up onto a stack of logs, climb onto a shipping container, then sprint and jump to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 7: Climb onto a shipping container, then up to the top of the wave jammer, and finally onto the platform.
- Wave Jammer 8: Use the wingsuit from the hill west of the jammer; or drive a vehicle up the jammer, climb onto it, then up to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 9: Climb some crates to get on top of the jammer, then climb up to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 10: Climb onto some pallets, then a shipping container, and then up to the platform.
- Wave Jammer 11: Climb some barrels and boxes to get on top of the jammer, then climb up to the platform.
