Can you still meet Tinkerbell at Disney World? ›

Hi Jackson! Meeting some of our favorite Disney characters is a great part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! At present, Tinker Bell does not hold a “meet and greet” opportunity at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Why is Tinkerbell not a Disney princess? She was actually considered to be part of the original Disney Princess franchise. However due to growing popularity of the Winx Club, Disney decided to remove Tinkerbell from the Disney Princess franchise so she could lead the Disney Fairies Franchise in 2005.

Some of the rides that have been removed from Walt Disney World include Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, The Great Movie Ride, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. These rides were removed for various reasons, such as to make way for new attractions, to update outdated technology, or to fit in with new theming in the park.
