A frequently asked question we get on our YouTube Channel, is whether or not Anti-Relfective coating can be added to Transitions EXTRActive Style Mirrors.

The answer in short is yes it can, and in fact there is a backside anti-reflective coating automatically applied to the Style Mirrors lenses. This coating reduces reflections on the backside of the lenses. The front side of the lens is where the mirror is, and you can't have an anti-reflective coating on a mirror. A mirror by definitionis a surface that reflect light.

I made a full video explaining this in more detail, and showing examples of lenses with and without anti-reflective coatings. I also explain which types of mirrors are best on Transitions lenses.
