PS, if you want to make sure the account isn't locked out, you can go to https://tut4life.tut.ac.za and “reset” the password The system will at the same time unlock the account.

Tshwane University of Technology - 2024 Registration Closing Date Extension. The 2024 late registration period is extended until Friday, 1 March 2024. First-year students should take note that registration beyond 23 February 2024 will depend on the availability of space.

Account lockout is a security measure to help protect your University account. Following a number of failed logon attempts using an incorrect password, your account will be locked. Admission requirement(s):

A National Senior Certificate with a bachelor's degree or a diploma endorsem*nt, or an equivalent qualification, with an achievement level of at least 3 for English (home language or first additional language) and 3 for Mathematics, Technical Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.

Changing and managing students' password is possible via the TUT Password Manager APP downloaded from PlayStore (Android users) or AppStore (IoS users). Follow the prompts and install the APP to reset your password. Note that your password will expire every 160 days and can be reset using the APP.
