Hi. When I sign into my AT&T email account, I select my name icon in the upper right, choose "Add or Manage Accounts". This takes me to a page that has "Currently, from AT&T | yahoo!" and a button to access "Account Info". When I click on the Account Info, I am redirected to DirecTV because my AT&T account is linked to DirecTV.
There is no way to remove this linking on DirecTV's site.
There is no way to remove this linking on AT&T's site because it redirects to DirecTV.
HOW DO I GET MY AT&T EMAIL ACCOUNT UNLINKED FROM DIRECTV?!?!?!?

You just screamed to the world that you did not read and comprehend my post, without telling us you did not read and comprehend my post...
I CANNOT GET TO ACCOUNT SETTINGS to select LINKED ACCOUNTSBECAUSE WHEN I CLICK ON ACCOUNT INFO TO GET TO WHERE ACCOUNT SETTINGS WOULD BE, I AM IMMEDIATELY REDIRECTED TO DIRECTV.
WHY is this such a difficult concept to comprehend???????
Somebody "behind the curtain" has to undo this linking of my accounts for me.

We're here to help you get into the right MyATT account to manage your secure mail key, @GrumpyDude!
The most common cause for this is that when trying to sign in, the wrong user ID is being used. You have two IDs, and it seems like the one that is being used is the DirecTV one.
You can find the User ID that is needed by following the Forgot User ID process with these steps:
- Go to theForgot IDpage.
- Enter the email you provided when you set up your ID.
- Follow the prompts.
FYI:If you don’t remember what email you used, chooseForgot contact email. If you have more than one ID with the same contact email, your Forgot ID email will list them all.
If you are still unable to access the accout needed using these steps, let us know! We may need to bring you into a direct message to look into this further for you.

Seriously?!? Can you even hear yourself???
There is NO forgotten ID. I know the email address that I need to get to the ACCOUNT SETTINGS for. I can log into it this account and see the currently.att.yahoo.com page for it. I can read, compose, and delete emails for this account at mail.yahoo.com.
If I try and go to the ACCOUNT INFO link where I would be able to see settings, including secure email keys, I AM REDIRECTED ACCOUNT INFO AT DIRECTV instead of being taken to the account info page for this @att.net email account.

Hi, @GrumpyDude.
When attempting to access the account setting you will need to do so through myAT&T. From there you can alter the account settings.

OK, Explain this...
I was logged into my @att.net and viewing my email in a browser. I clicked on the link in the notification email that there was an update in this forum thread here. I saw your response and clicked on the "myAT&T" link in your post.
I was redirected to my DirecTV account overview.

I have the same problem. However, my user ID is correct AND the same as my DirecTV login. My mail account was blocked and the password subsequently reset last week. Outlook 365, which supports Oauth, will not connect with POP or IMAP. I can however log in to the web page and read my mail there. I am consistently redirected to the DirecTV page and can find no direct link to change my Secure Key. Account is [email scrubbed] I chose to tag on to this thread in hopes of helping others.

Yep, Mine was that way as well... @att.netUserID {email} being used for DirecTV. I went so far as changing my email for DirecTV account administration to a gmail account, but it's buried deep in the system somewhere that it is associated with DirecTV, so it still redirects.
I suspect that this will magically resolve once they finally fully disconnect from DirecTV... At least I would hope.
We certainly have nobody working for AT&T that knows their A from a hole in the ground. A bunch of "experts" with a template of "solutions" to cut & paste from. Certainly nobody with any real technical or troubleshooting abilities.
Just to make my point...
Hey AT&T "experts"... If any of y'all can actually fix this, I'll send you a $50 gift card for your favorite steak house.
My money, in the words of Emperor Palpatine... is quite safe from your pitiful little band!

Same problem for me. I agree with you Grumpy Dude. I will add another $50 gift card. The only solution I can see at this point is to drop DirectTV for Dish TV.
