Using your ruler or measuring tape, measure downward from each pupil mark to the bottom of the lens. This distance is your segment height. Attention: the measurement refers to the bottom of the lens, not the frame. Note down the segment height for each eye.

Hold your ruler vertically and align its 0-mm mark with the bottom of your lens. The mm line that aligns with the centre of your pupil is your segment height. Repeat the process three times to ensure a consistent measurement.
