FIND YOUR SIZE
To assist you in your size selection, we suggest you use the Find your size option, available on each item’s page. We will calculate which size is best for you through this tool, based on information you provide (your body measurements and how you like your clothes to fit).
Choosing Your Size. To help choose the right size, you will need to measure your bust, waist and hip. Use a tape measure over your underwear or form fitting clothing and compare your body measurements with those on our size chart, choosing the size that closest matches your measurements.
Using your example, a 42″ chest means that when took a vinyl tape measure and wrapped it snugly around your chest (not tight though) the tape measure says 42″ - or typically XL.
However, a woman who weighs between 180-200 lbs may typically wear a clothing size that ranges from XL to 3XL, depending on her body shape and height. It's important to remember that clothing sizes are just a guide, and it's always best to try on clothing to ensure a proper fit.
While a size XL is designed to fit a size 16/18, she may prefer to wear a size 1X, which equates to a size 14/16. This is because the plus-size section was designed with curves in mind.
A waist circumference of greater than 40 inches for men and greater than 35 inches for women is considered indicative of abdominal obesity. It carries with it increased risk for: Heart disease.
The average weight for a woman who wears size 12 can vary depending on several factors such as height, bone structure, and muscle mass. According to research conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the average weight for women aged 20-29 who wear size 12 is approximately 160 pounds.
Sizes range from 0-2 (extra small) to 14-16 (extra large). Smaller sizes are usually petites, and larger sizes usually found in women's or plus size departments. Remember that each clothing brand will have their own sizing guidelines, so watch carefully to ensure you are buying the correct size.
