Where do I find SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission) filings? (2024)

SEC filings (mid-1990s to present) are freely available fromEDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis and Retrieval).

Most of our resources forcompany financials also provide SEC filings. These include:

• D&B Hoovers: From a company record, selectAdvanced>SEC Filings.
• Nexis Uni: Under Guided Search, select Company Info, enter a company name, and selectSEC Filingsfrom the drop-down menu.
• S&P Capital IQ (see access details):From a company record, use the menu along the left to selectNews, Events & Filings >SEC filings.
• LSEGWorkspace(formerly Refinitiv)(includes pre-EDGAR filings for some companies):
  • To find filings for a specific company, type the company name or ticker in top search box. Pull up the company record. Hover the Filings menu and select Filings. Expand the Filters menu by clicking the pencil icon above the list of filings.
  • To screen for filings, select Filings & Events --> Advanced Filings from the home page.

For companies listed on the NYSE or AMEX, use older filings on microfiche/microcard available at the Lippincott Library Information Desk:

• U.S. Companies from 1950-1993 (Annual Reports from 1950-;10Ksfrom 1968-; and Proxies from 1982-)
• Non-U.S.companiesfrom 1982-1990, arranged alphabetically
