Where to Find Ancient Souls in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights (2024)

Lily will encounter many spirits that will help her fight along her travels inENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights, and each will have its own required item to level. The Umbral Knight is the first of the spirits to fight in her stead and needs Ancient Souls. There are five hidden among the world for Lily, the player, to find.

These Ancient Souls are spread between a couple of different maps. These are the Catacombs, the Stockade, and the Verboten Domain. Some of them are in the same places within these maps, while others are found separate from one another.

The Ancient Souls in the Catacombs

Players can find the two Ancient Souls of the Catacombs in the area after defeating the Dark Witch Eleine. As Lily, players should be able to see a level beneath a pile of bones in the room right of the Charnel Respite. Smash through these bones with Gerrod to access and use the lever. This will open a metal grate at the bottom of the body of water to the right. Head down this new pathway to the room below. Purify the body, and players will receive two Ancient Souls.

The Ancient Soul in the Stockade

While in the Stockade zone, head into the room to the left of the Execution Ground. Players should then be able to take the bottom exit out of this room through a grate. In the room below, there is a hanging cage with a body lying near it. Purify the body to receive another Ancient Soul.

The Ancient Souls in the Verboten Domain

These two souls are found in the same room as the Stone Tablet. Players will need to access this room by smashing the ground near the dais in Subterranean Lab B4. Then use Faden's power to unlock the door into Blighted Waters. Players should prep for this area with HP boosts, heals, and relics like the Heretic's Mask. After swimming through this dangerous mess, players should reach the secret room. Inside players will find a dead Umbral Knight for them to purify. Purifying them will grant Lily the last two Ancient Souls and a short cinematic.
