Australian Actress Alycia Debnam-Carey is well known for her role as Alicia on Fear the Walking Dead.This is a character the actress has portrayed since season 1 of the series. A fan-favorite, Alicia was bitten by a walker in season 7 of the series. Will she be returning for season 8 of the series?
Season 7 of Fear the Walking Dead saw the return of Alicia’s mother, Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) but not before Alicia decided to leave the group. She received a bit to her arm, which she quickly amputated, but she believes she was too late and that the constant fevers and fever-induced dreams she had been experiencing were the virus slowly making its way through her body.
By the penultimate episode of season 7, Alicia left the survivors as they exited from the nuclear wasteland of Texas in search of a safer place to live. She felt it was her responsibility to warn those who heard a message she sent out via radio encouraging people to come to the safe haven of the Tower.
This separation was also Debnam-Carey’s last appearance in the series, as she is looking to pursue new projects. This disappointed fans who longed for the reunion between Alicia and Madison. But since she didn’t die, the door has been left open for a future return.
In Jan. 2022, it was announced that season 8 would be the last for Fear the Walking Dead. This announcement doesn’t look good for a return of Alicia to the series.
Besides her role as Alicia Clark on Fear the Walking Dead, Debnam-Carey is probably best known for her roles as Lexa in The 100. Throughout this series, she starred in 17 episodes.
She is also known for Into the Storm, The Devil’s Hang, Galyntine, and A Violent Separation.
She will star with fellow Fear TWD actors Colby Minifie (Virginia), Austin Amelio (Dwight), and Craig Nigh (Hill) in a short titled Lovebug that is set to release February 2, 2023.
Debnam-Carey will also star with Sigourney Weaver in the series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart and the thriller series Saint X. She will also star in two new movies, It’s What’s Inside and Liked.

Alicia didn't appear in the final season of the show until the series finale, resulting in an emotional reunion with Madison. By having the series end with the pair back together, the Clark family's story is completed in a way that ties the entire show together.
