You can also freeze the container and take one individual madeleine out when you're in the mood for a sweet treat and they defrost just fine.
You can also store them in an airtight container for up to two days. (See more tips for how to store your favorite baked goods.) How Long Do Madeleines Stay Fresh? Personally, I think Madeleines are best eaten the day they are made. But they will last in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. After baking, omit the powdered sugar, place them in an air-tight container, and then bring them to room temperature.
Storing: Although the batter can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, the madeleines should be eaten soon after they are made. You can keep them overnight in a sealed container, but they really are better on day 1. If you must store them, wrap them airtight and freeze them; they'll keep for up to 2 months.
MAKE AHEAD: The batter needs to be refrigerated for at least 1 hour and up to 2 days in advance. The madeleines are best served fresh and warm.
To do this, I simply wrap the box in some cellophane, then tie the cellophane together with some ribbon. To give the madeleines a glamorous touch, I usually use some kind of gift wrap toppers, such as an ornament and/or small, decorative tree fillers.
Freeze 'em
And even if you buy fresh goods, don't be afraid to freeze them! “A lot of baked products don't freeze well, but Costco's do,” reports Michael Alexis, CEO of TeamBuilding.

Wrap baked cookies in plastic wrap as tight as you can to keep out as much air as possible. Put layers of plastic wrap, freezer paper or waxed paper between each layer of cookies to keep them from freezing to each other. Frozen baked cookies can be thawed on the counter or in the fridge.
Layering—Cover the bottom of the container with cookies. Place a sheet of wax or parchment paper on top. Then add another layer of cookies, followed by parchment paper. Plastic Wrap—Preventing freezer burn is all about keeping the air out.
Tips for freezing baked cookies:
Make sure the top layer is covered with wax paper, plastic wrap or aluminum foil so that very little air will get to the cookies. The individually wrapped cookies will store longer.

Large Costco packs of fresh produce can be easily prepped for freezing. Likewise, while some of the chicken and fish pieces are individually wrapped, beef and pork cuts still come in bulk packs. I divide those into meal-size portions for our household and stash them in the freezer.
Just place your Costco muffins in a freezer-safe bag and pull them out when you're ready for them. You can defrost the muffins on your counter or in your fridge, but as the author points out, you can also put them in the microwave at 50-percent power for a fast and even defrosting (and a slightly warm muffin).
Although it lasts a couple weeks in the fridge, cheese can last even longer if you freeze it. Repackage a week's worth to pull out of the fridge each week. Cheddar cheese is one of my favorites to have around.
