Devastation Evoker Viability

Your talent choices dictate how well Devastation Evoker plays in differentscenarios. However, when you pick a talent build that is not ideally suited to thecombat scenario, your DPS will be much lower, such as, for example, using a single-targetraid Build in Mythic+. Having multiple talent trees set up will prevent this fromhappening.

Evokers do not have high health or base mitigation, and taking avoidable damagecan kill you, leading to the feeling of being "squishy." However, Evokers arevery mobile, making avoiding this damage easier.

Additionally, you can support your team with healing (which increases yourdamage with Devastation Evoker DPS Guide - Dragonflight 10.2.7 (29) Scarlet Adaptation, and mobility with Devastation Evoker DPS Guide - Dragonflight 10.2.7 (30) Blessing of the Bronzereducing the cooldown of their movement effects, Devastation Evoker DPS Guide - Dragonflight 10.2.7 (31) Time Spiral givingeveryone a free use of their mobility cooldown, Devastation Evoker DPS Guide - Dragonflight 10.2.7 (32) Zephyr, which reducesAoE damage taken and increases movement speed, and you can pick up an ally andmove them to a new location with Devastation Evoker DPS Guide - Dragonflight 10.2.7 (33) Rescue (very useful for picking upslow players or saving someone from a potentially dangerous location).
