Dr. John T. Foster is the secondary antagonist of the E4 TV series Skins, appearing as the main antagonist of it's fourth season and a posthumous antagonist in the finale Skins: Rise
He was a psychiatrist assigned to Effy Stonem after the latter attempted suicide, who pretended to help her overcome psychotic depression when in actuality he was making her worse purposefully in an attempt to destroy her mind and take her for himself.
He was portrayed by Hugo Speer.

Personality[]
Foster was a cold, stoic, perverted and egotistical man who had no care for anybody but himself and would go to the most extreme lengths to succeed in his goals such as killing. He was also avery intelligent and cunning man who was highly manipulative, managing to successfully fool everyone around him into thinking he was a good natured and helpful doctor.
Appearance[]
Foster was a pale skinned, soft spoken, middle aged man with thinning grey hair and a gaunt build who was surprisingly strong physically. He had a preference for wearing cardigans and grey jeans; however in a few scenes he is seen wearing a black trench coat fully buttoned up.

What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- Taking advantage of his profession and influence over Effy as his patient and supplying her with false medication, driving her completely insane and nearly resulting in her killing herself.
- Murdering Freddie for the mere fact that Effy loved him.
- Fabricating a note in Freddie's name saying he had ran away from home leaving his friends and family to feel unjustly guilty and suspicious as a result.
- Trying to murder James Cook for uncovering the truth about Freddie.
- Also assaulting and taunting Cook vigorously before trying to kill him.
Trivia[]
- Foster is the only Skins character to be considered purely evil.
- Foster is also the most likely reason as to why season four is considered to be the darkest season (not counting the final season which is made up of three separate miniseries).
