Popular Magazines Ceasing Print Publication (2024)

Magazine publisher Dotdash Meredith has announced that six of their publications will no longer have print editions, effective from February 2022 on:

Unfortunately, the digital versions of these magazines are not available through Overdrive.

We know many of these titles have dedicated readership among our patrons. These 6 titles accounted for 6% of the checkouts on our new magazines last year, so we imagine they will be missed.

This is part of a broader industry trend to move to digital only magazines or ceasing publication entirely. Some other publications recently no longer in print include: O magazine, Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, Popular Science, Shape, Air & Space Smithsonian, and ARTnews.
