What happened to Booth's son Parker? ›

In Season 7 it is revealed that Parker is living in England with his mother but visits Booth during the holidays. He and Brennan have their daughter Christine Angela in Season 7. She was named after Brennan's mother Christine Brennan and their co-worker and friend Angela Montenegro.

Hank apparently did suffer a heart attack -- and was declared dead before being sent to the undertaker.

"It's you're dad." Turns out Booth's dad is dead -- liver failure. Booth reacts like he has just been told it's a Tuesday. "Take care of him," a worried pops tells Bones after Booth exits. CUT to the dead letter office, where the team pours over multiple boxes containing remains.

"We have Ralph Waite [Booth's grandfather, Hank], Joanna Cassidy [Booth's mom, Marianne] and Ryan O'Neal [Brennan's dad, Max]," says Nathan, who also confirms the return of Booth's long-absent son, Parker (Ty Panitz). Booth's brother, Jared, we will learn, is unable to attend due to his military obligations.

Panitz did not continue acting after Bones and perhaps after nine years working in network television, the young actor simply decided that the career was not for him. His only other acting roles came in a few one-off episodes, but he primarily worked as a voice actor in straight-to-video movies and animated TV shows.

During this time, Angela dates intern Wendell Bray, but she marries Hodgins in season five and gives birth to their son, Michael Vincent, in season six.

The name choice would be a memorial to Booth's grandfather, Hank Booth, who kicked Booth's father out of the house after discovering him beating Booth and took on the role of raising Booth and his little brother, Jared, himself. Ralph Waite who played Hank "Pops" Booth died in 2014.

At the end of Season 10, Booth and Brennan left their respective jobs in an effort to provide a more stable life for their family. That family is larger now, since Brennan gave birth to baby Hank over the hiatus.

Booth's companion David Herold surrendered, but Booth maintained a standoff. After the authorities set the barn ablaze, Union soldier Boston Corbett fatally shot him in the neck. Paralyzed, he died a few hours later. Of the eight conspirators later convicted, four were soon hanged.

How is Bones pregnant with Booth's child? ›

In the second to last episode of season 6 Booth and Brennan have sex, consummating their relationship, and it is revealed in the last few moments of the season finale that as a result, Brennan has become pregnant, with Booth the father.

It was announced Booth had a brain tumor and needed immediate surgery. Though he had earlier refused to give Brennan his sperm while he was hallucinating because he would want to be a part of the child's life, Booth tells her before going into surgery if something should happen to him, he wants her to have his baby.

The killer is revealed to be the journalist's source for the documents who is also arrested for treason. Meanwhile, Booth's son Parker returns from London, and the Jeffersonian team celebrate Thanksgiving together.

Like Booth, Jared had a gambling problem and owed a lot of people money. He kept buying her expensive gifts in attempt to win her back up until his death at the hands of Victor Masbourian's guards.

Back home, Parker holds baby Christine -- and the boy doesn't seem overly thrilled to meet his new sister. "You like her?" he asks his dad. Says Booth: "I love her, just like I love you." Parker asks to be alone.
