Firstly run the tape measure around your body, under the bra at the top of the rib cage. This will give you your back measurement. Now take the tape measure across the fullest part of your bust. This will give you your cup size.

Example: Bust = 37 inches, Band = 34 inches, 37 - 34 = 3 inches. That's a 34C! If the difference between band and bust measurement is 1, then your cup size is A. If the difference is 2, then the cup size will be B, so on & so forth.

A Cup: This is the smallest cup size. It typically indicates a small difference between the band size and the fullest part of the bust, usually around 1 inch. B Cup: The B cup represents a slightly larger difference between the band size and the fullest part of the bust, typically around 2 inches.

AA(Double A) is the smallest cup size, then it goes up to A, B, C, and then D. After D you can either go up to DD(Double D) or its equivalent E, DDD(Triple D) is the next cup size which turns to be the equivalent of F. Once you hit F/DDD you continue to go up letters like what was done before.

The most obvious signs to look for is any kind of bulging, whether at the front or sides, which is a sure-fire sign the fit is not right. The bra should always sit smoothly on the body. And when you take your bra off, check for any marks on the skin, most typically on the shoulders.

When buying a new bra for sagging breasts, figure out the cup size. To do this, wrap the tape measure around your body below the armpits and across your bust line, noting the measurement in inches. Next, measure just under the bust line and round to the nearest number to get your band size.

Is D or DD cup bigger? There's no difference in the spacing between single and double letter sizes, a DD is one full size larger than D, just like E is one full size larger than DD.

If there's a 1-inch difference between bust and band you're an A cup; 2-inch difference is a B cup, 3 inches is a C cup, 4 inches is a D cup, and so on. For example, if your bust measurement is 37 inches and your band is 33 inches, you would be a D cup because of the 4-inch difference.

While it's really difficult to precisely determine the standard breast size in the U.S. (or anywhere in the world, for that matter), we do know that the average breast size in America is a 34DD.

What is the difference between DD and DDD? DD and DDD cups are two completely different cup sizes. DD will have 5 inches of difference from your band size, and DDD will have 6 inches of difference. DDD is also often recognized as an F cup.
